PRAM represents insurance companies in the capacity of a Managing General Underwriter (MGU), providing essential services that enhance the carrier’s product offerings. Our carrier partnerships are crucial, as they provide the insurance foundation behind PRAM’s innovative products through filed and approved policies which then allows entrance into the health benefits marketplace.
As an MGU, PRAM offers comprehensive services, including policy and certificate creation, and state filing and approval management. With the carrier’s permission, PRAM handles all policy filings on their SERFF platform or our own. We also manage policy and certificate issuance, carrier appointments, full program underwriting, and pharmacy benefit program creation. Additionally, we provide robust reporting capabilities, including carrier and state program reporting assistance. PRAM also provides TPA services such as enrollment, eligibility, billing, and premium collection.
